Die vom Hamburger Unternehmer und M\u00e4zen Alexander Otto gegr\u00fcndete Stiftung \u201eLebendige Stadt\u201c hat den Initiatoren der \u201eFUNKEL-FENSTER\u201c in der s\u00e4chsischen Stadt Lichtenstein im Rahmen ihres bundesweiten Stiftungspreises f\u00fcr Ihr Engagement f\u00fcr die Kunst und Kultur w\u00e4hrend der Corona-Pandemie eine Anerkennung ausgesprochen.<\/p>\n

Insgesamt haben sich 256 St\u00e4dte aus dem In- und benachbarten Ausland beworben. Gewonnen hat die westf\u00e4lische Stadt Gevelsberg.<\/p>\n

Ganz Lichtenstein verwandelte sich f\u00fcr drei Monate in eine gro\u00dfe Open-Air-Kunstgalerie. Was im harten Lockdown der Vorweihnachtszeit 2020 mit sechs Schaufenstern begann, steigerte sich schnell auf 60. Viele B\u00fcrgerinnen und B\u00fcrger genauso wie Unternehmen spendeten und stellten kostenfrei R\u00e4ume zur Verf\u00fc-gung. Das Gemeinschaftsgef\u00fchl wurde dadurch gest\u00e4rkt. Lichtenstein wurde damit \u00fcberregional wahrgenommen und die Innenstadt erfuhr eine Wiederbelebung.
Die \u201eFunkel-Fenster\u201c sind ein MODELLPROJEKT.<\/p>\n

Der Wettbewerb:<\/h3>\n

Staatsminister Thomas Schmidt hat am 26. M\u00e4rz 2021 in Dresden eine neue Runde des Wettbewerbs \u201eAb in die Mitte! Die City-Offensive Sachsen\u201c gestartet. Als Schirmherr des traditionsreichen City-Wettbewerbs verk\u00fcndete der Staatsminister in einer digitalen Auftaktveranstaltung zudem das diesj\u00e4hrige Motto \u201eLebensraum Stadt: Handel, Wandel, Vielfalt\u201c, unter dem ab sofort kreative Ideen gesucht werden, die Innovationen in die Innenst\u00e4dte des Freistaates bringen. Daf\u00fcr loben das S\u00e4chsische Staatsministerium f\u00fcr Regionalentwicklung (SMR) und S\u00e4chsische Staatsministerium f\u00fcr Wirtschaft, Arbeit und Verkehr (SMWA) gemeinsam ein Preisgeld von insgesamt 100 000 Euro aus.<\/p>\n
